Shoe Repair

I am very fortunate because I can buy shoes here. If my feet were just a little bigger I wouldn't be able to! In September I bought a new pair of shoes in Itaewon for school. They're really cute but when I wore them to school they made so much noise when I walked down the hall. Clunk, clunk...Everyone knew I was coming. It was embarassing. So finally today I went to the shoe repairman to get them fixed. I've posted a picture. There are shoe repair places all over the city like this. He took off the sole and put a rubber sole on in about 10 minutes. And it cost 4,000 won ($4.00). Not bad, huh! AND, no more clunking around for me. I can sneak up on anyone.
