I love Thailand

I realize my blog is called my life in Korea but sometimes I do go outside of Korea!
I'm at an administrator's conference in Bangkok, Thailand. This is my fifth time to visit Thailand. It is a great place. Our conference has been great. I'm so blessed to be able to travel, grow professionally, stay in nice places..We are staying at the Shangri La. I'm wriitng this in the lobby using wireless technology. There's a lady singing (Gonna make my brown eyes blues) and as I look out the window I can see the pool, which is next to the river. On the river are water taxis going back and forth and Chinese boats floating by. It's 10 p.m. so I can see them because they are well lit. On the other side of the river are tall high rise buildings-it's just a beautiful panoramic view.

Sunday was a holiday and so that evening there were fireworks over the river. We watched them from the hotel room. I've gotten to eat delicious Thai food and I've had Mexican food twice! I've had a great time sharing a room with my co-worker and good friend Jin while here. Had a chance to talk wit some of the other administrators in our NICS network. They were from Singapore and China.

Wow, a nice trip.
